About

India exemplifies diversity, from religion to landscape to people to food.  India has experienced numerous cultural, political, and social influences from invaders over the centuries.  There are fourteen official languages and over one thousand dialects, yet that number is dwarfed by the varieties of herbs, spices and flavors used in this countries cuisine, which are so masterfully blended that you may experience hot, bitter, sweet, tart, astringent and nutty in one bite.  India’s cuisine comes from four main regions.  The northern region is best known for its tandoori oven as well as its poultry and meat dishes.  The southern region is best known for its simple vegetarian dishes which are complexly spiced.  The west features food which has been influenced the most by outside invaders, harmoniously combining foods from the north and south and adding many dairy products.   The eastern region is best known for having some of the most complex dishes in India and some of the best desserts.

Here at India’s Pearl we have perfected the cuisine of these regions and also melded these four regions with some of our American favorites to create new fusion dishes that will give you a unique dining experience that will leave your taste buds wanting more.    Now that you know a little history of the food please join us and allow your taste buds to enjoy an experience from half a world away that has been centuries in the making.

Indian food in America has taken different directions in all regions of the US, here at India’s Pearl we have brought in chefs who have trained in several regions to create a new taste that has never before been had.   Our chefs are very well trained with over 40 years of experience in the industry.  The preparation and training they have had will redefine the way you think of Indian food.  They have not only perfected classic favorites such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Daal Makhani and Lamb Vindaloo, but also have created a large number of excellent fusion dishes including the Tandoori Ginger Filet Mignon, Ginger Honey Tandoori Duck, Venison Lal Mas, and Tandoori Lobster Tail to name a few.

Our food is always cooked fresh and never reheated, as often found in most curry in a hurry restaurants that are around town (we have to find a nice, subtle way to say this).  For this reason we do not do a buffet for lunch but instead offer a Lunch Thali, which features up to twelve items that are cooked fresh and made to order.
